Sunset District bank robbed

SFPD starA Sunset District bank was robbed Monday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

According to police, a white man between 24 and 26 years old walked into a bank in the 1800 block of Irving Street at about 2:30 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, and he left on foot.

Police did not name the bank that was robbed, but two banks are on the block of Irving Street between 19th and 20th avenues.  First Republic Bank is at 1809 Irving St. and U.S. Bank is at 1850 Irving St.
