  • Sunset Super’s store on Vicente Street is the go-to place for anyone looking for an Asian-flavored full-service supermarket in the Parkside and southern Sunset District. If this People Behaving Badly report is any indication, it also seems to attract shoppers and delivery drivers with an aversion to parking anywhere but directly in front of the store, regardless of traffic laws. • The Chronicle’s 49 Square Miles project wraps up its yearlong culinary tour of San Francisco, with nods to west-SF including Pacific Cafe, outer Sunset District coffee and parklets, Islamic Chinese food, pink popcorn at the San Francisco Zoo, and a note from Supervisor Carmen Chu. – SF Chronicle
  • The Outer Richmond’s Hong Kong Lounge is known for dim sum and long waits. But there’s a sister restaurant inland on Geary that also offers dim sum with shorter waits and less commotion. – SF Weekly
  • Broken gas line near 26th Avenue and Geary Boulevard causes firefighters to evacuate buildings. – ABC7, SF Chronicle
  • Last week we told you about the accidental citywide activation of San Francisco’s Outdoor Public Warning System that made some people worried there was a real emergency even though it was only supposed to activate a few siren locations to signal the end of a Sunday Streets event in Chinatown. Turns out the City’s Department of Emergency Management still is a bit vague about how it happened and even how the sirens came to be used for Sunday Streets. – SF Gate
  • Fire in cluttered Richmond District home sends a man to the hospital. – Bay City News via SF Appeal
  • This 1936 house on 29th Avenue in the Richmond mixes a vintage feel with modern updates, and it’s on the market for $800K. – SF Chronicle
