Woman beaten unconscious on 48th Avenue
The Bay City News service reports in the SF Appeal that the attack on the 64-year-old victim was reported at 10:02 p.m. Tuesday.
A witness saw a woman in her late 20s or early 30s punching and kicking the victim, according to police.
When the witness went to break up the fight, the suspect fled in a blue 2000 Ford van. She had not been found as of this morning, police said.
The victim’s injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, but she was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
