Woman kidnapped from Sloat shopping center
A woman was kidnapped from a shopping center on Sloat Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon, then forced to withdraw money from several banks before her captors fled at the Stonestown Galleria, according to police.
Bay City News Service reports in the SF Appeal that at about 1 p.m. Tuesday, a 60-year-old woman was at the shopping center in the 1500 block of Sloat Boulevard when two women approached her and claimed they had a gun. The women told the victim to drive them to several different banks, where they made her withdraw money and give it to them, police said.
The women then told their victim to drive them to the Stonestown Galleria, and once at the mall they left. The victim was not harmed.
The suspects are described as two women in their late 50s or early 60s.
