Scaregrove 2011 haunts Stern Grove for Halloween
On Friday, Stern Grove will transform into Scaregrove, a Halloween fest for kids and families with rides, food and activities.
From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., the third annual Scaregrove will bring a haunted house, hay rides, arts and crafts, bouncy houses, and carnival rides to the eastern end of Stern Grove, near 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.
Scaregrove is a production of the Recreation and Park Department and the SF Parks Alliance, with support from the Stern Grove Festival.
Admission to Scaregrove is $8, and includes all rides and activities. Food and drinks are available but are sold separately. Some tickets are available at a discount for low-income families. Call (415) 831-2700 for more information.
