The Riptide bar on Taraval Street will host a special event Saturday night to gather toys for the San Francisco Fire Department’s annual children’s toy drive.

Starting at 9 p.m., the event will feature music from Red Meat and runs until midnight. Patrons are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to donate. According to the Riptide, this is the sixth year the bar has supported the SFFD program to collect toys for San Francisco children.
