Get Your Hee-Haw Ready, it’s time for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival
The 10th Annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, arguably one of San Francisco’s most popular annual events, will grace Golden Gate Park this weekend. The free, three-day festival, which begins Friday afternoon, packs a dynamic lineup of classic bluegrass musicians as well as some more contemporary samplings such as MC Hammer.
Neighborhood residents should get ready to see a lot more people trying to find parking on the outskirts of the park for the next few days — and a lot more denim and cowboy hats.
Wondering who’s playing at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass? The official website has a complete schedule.
If you’re going to Hardly Strictly, the Ocean Beach Bulletin wants to hear from you! Bulletin neighborhood correspondent Andy Wernette will be at the festival, but we would love to supplement his experience with what you see. Share with us your thoughts, pictures and even videos so we can include them in our weekend wrap-up. We won’t be able to post everything we get, but we would love to hear what you heard, and see what you saw.
